• From I-77, take Exit 10, Trade Street East. (From I-77 South, this will be Exit 10 B.)
• Follow Trade Street through the center of Charlotte, where the name changes to Elizabeth Avenue.
• Stay on Elizabeth Avenue until it comes to a dead end at Presbyterian Hospital. The Hospital is a very large brick building which will be just ahead, and the street here is Hawthorne Lane.
• Turn left on Hawthorne Lane and proceed to the second stoplight, which is East 7th Street.
• Turn right onto East 7th Street.
• Proceed three blocks, crossing over the intersection of Pecan/Caswell Av (stop light)
• We are in the seventh building on the right; a two-story brick house.
